Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Regulus calendula

I first noticed a few ruby-crowned kinglets migrating through in the fall of 2014. They have become regular visitors during migration. The best time to look for them is late September or early October.

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
