Amethyst Shooting Star

I planted a few of these in a flower box by the front door. They are one of the prettiest flowers I've seen. The flower box stays outside all winter. I suspect the soil gets colder than normal ground. They seem to have no trouble with that.
We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
