House sparrows occasionally stop by. I do not allow them to nest in the yard. Usually, I only put sunflower seeds in the seed feeder. They don't seem to care for those. If I put almost anything else, it seems to attract them.
We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
