Junco hyemalis

Juncos visit every fall. They don't always stay all winter. But it's fairly common to see them around the feeder in winter.

They disappear and head north each spring.

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
